About

The Max in the reviews is the Max who shows up.

“I am a small electrical company located in Sedalia, Missouri. My key is customer satisfaction.” That's how we describe ourselves, and the reviews back it up.

Customers write about the same things over and over: Max listens, explains what he's doing and why, and lays out your options before the work starts. The process feels like a conversation, not a transaction. Then the work gets done quickly and priced fairly.

In 2025 the Sedalia Democrat's Best of Sedalia awards named Maxim Electric the Silver winner for Best Electrical Contractor.

Permanent exterior lighting

Holiday lights that never come down.

Jellyfish permanent lighting mounts along your roofline and stays there. In our own words, from the last install we posted: “They are awesome lights that you can barely tell that they are put up. Comes with a controller that you can control anywhere.” Warm white for every day, colors for the holidays, all from your phone.

Maxim came to my house on a Sunday afternoon & got my meter & mast back on my home after being a victim of the Warsaw, Mo tornado - the power company shut my electric off after a 15min notice, no time to power up anything, including my electric wheelchair. Courteous, respectful, and all around caring individual. I will be using Maxim Electric again, & HIGHLY recommend their services.

Max did a very good job with installing multiple new light fixtures (some required cutting into the ceiling, routing wires, and installation of a couple of new switches) along with replacing quite a few older outlets. Fairly priced and he worked quickly. We'll have some more work later this year and will be calling again.

Maxim is good electrician. He did interior and exterior lighting in my house, he hooked up appliances and installed Tesla charger. Also he did great job installing under-cabinet lights. I would highly recommend having him do his job which is done with professionalism, excellence and a high regard for what the customer wants. Always great and gets the job done.

When Max first came out I told him we were not sure when we'd be ready to do it, but as soon as we were he got us on schedule and quickly completed the job! He rewired our entire basement while making the functionality of it 10x better! We cannot recommend him enough and will use him in the future.

When the power goes out, the clock doesn't matter.

Burned out disconnects, storm damage, a meter and mast pulled off the house. One customer wrote about us getting her meter and mast back on after the Warsaw tornado, on a Sunday afternoon, so her electric wheelchair could charge. We answer around the clock, every day of the week.
